Participate in the Student Poster Competition
Students at all career stages (BSc, MSc, and PhD) are warmly invited to participate in the Student Poster Competition, which recognizes outstanding student poster presentations at the congress.
All registered students presenting a poster at ECCB will automatically be entered into the competition. If you prefer not to participate, you will have the opportunity to opt out via the Know Before You Go email, which will be sent shortly before the congress.
Posters entered in the competition will be evaluated by the poster review team during the congress. Winning posters will be announced during the Closing Session on Friday.
Poster Evaluation Criteria
Posters will be evaluated based on:
- Scientific quality and originality
- Clarity of presentation and visual design
- Communication of key findings
- Relevance to the congress theme: Effective Biodiversity Conservation
- Innovation, applicability, or impact for conservation practice
We encourage students to present exciting ideas, clear messages, and solutions that contribute to effective biodiversity conservation across scales and systems.
