Day 3 → Marja Spierenburg, posters and sessions.. and more posters!
July 9, 2026Our last but absolutely not least keynote speaker Berta Martin Lopez inspired the congress with how social science and natural science intersect.
“Words shape the worlds we can imagine. When we create space for diverse ways of knowing, feeling, and expressing our connection with nature, new forms of knowledge become possible. Conservation then becomes not only an act of protection, but an act of relationship.”
The early career awards were presented to Hanna Pettersson, Volen Arkumarev (in absentia), and Louise O’Connor & the distinguished service awards to Petr Zasadil and Julia P G Jones
