Frequently asked questions
Notification of cancellation of registration must be sent by email to eccb2026@congressbydesign.com.
- For cancellations received up to and including 14 June 2026, a cancellation fee of 25% will be charged.
- For cancellations received on and after 15 June 2026, no refund will be given, full amount required.
- Transferring the registration to another participant is not accepted, unless the participant is from the same company. A handling fee of EUR 40 per registration will be charged for every modification received after 15 June 2026.
- In the event that a registered participant is unable to attend the congress due to not having obtained a required visa in time, a (partial) refund request will be considered by the organisers, without guarantee of approval, provided that the visa application was submitted no later than three months prior to the start of the congress and that sufficient proof of timely submission can be provided upon request.
- All refunds will be processed after the congress.
- Travel and accommodation will not be reimbursed.
We accept payments by Mastercard and Visa. Any additional fees (e.g. bank charges) are at own expense. Payments by Apple Pay and Google Pay are also accepted. Payments via wire transfer include an additional charge of €40.
Participants who require a visa to enter the Netherlands are advised to start the visa application process well in advance. Please note that visa procedures may take at least four months, depending on your country of residence and local embassy processing times.
The ECCB 2026 Congress Secretariat is happy to support participants where possible by providing general information and issuing a letter of invitation for visa purposes. Please note, however, that the Secretariat cannot assist with the visa application process itself and cannot guarantee the outcome or processing time of any visa application.
Requests for a letter of invitation can be indicated during the registration process and/or submitted via eccb2026@congressbydesign.com. Letters of invitation are issued only after full payment of the registration fee and will be addressed exclusively to the registered participant (not to accompanying persons).
