These waivers are intended to support early-career conservation researchers and practitioners from underrepresented or less privileged backgrounds who face financial or structural barriers to attending the conference. Support is provided in the form of a registration fee waiver, meaning that no upfront payment of the conference registration fee is required.

- Travel and accommodation are not covered.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be an early-career conservation researcher or practitioner (within 6 years from the highest achieved full-time education)
- Submitted or intend to submit an abstract to ECCB 2026
- Face financial or structural barriers to participation
Timeline
- Application deadline: 15 March 2026
- Notification of results: by 5 April 2026
